I learned something new this week.
I read through my novels often. I do this to revise, to edit, and to get new ideas. I upload all of my edits to Amazon to republish as new editions, however Amazon only makes the corrections in the updates they think will make a difference to the reading experience. So, that means every time I have corrected missing quotes or other punctuation or spelling errors, these changes do not automatically update Kindle books. Because of that, I have jumped through quite a few hoops this week. This publishing thing is not for the lazy or faint of heart. I can attest. I have said for the last year, “The writing part I can do.” The technology, however is a different story and not my strongest area, nor is it in any way my expertise. This whole process has been an intense learning process. I’m very thankful for the help my husband offers even in the midst of his busy workdays.
